Joyce Rand is hoping to raise money for Birds of Prey Northwest by selling t-shirts through her Colorful Wishes program.

COEUR d'ALENE - Joyce Rand is hoping "Colorful Wishes" turns into some green for Birds of Prey Northwest.
The artist and businesswoman is unveiling new T-shirts with her designs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Art and Home Center, West Lee Court and Appleway Avenue.
"Clothing with a cause," Rand said.
Kids and adults can learn about the environment, birds, pick up a shirt and benefit Birds of Prey all at the same time. Jane Cantwell, director of Birds of Prey, will be on hand with several birds, including a hawk, eagle and owl, on Saturday.
White T-shirts - "wearable art," with a drawing outline that can be colored - are $12, which includes washable markers.
T-shirts with designs are $19. Proceeds go to Birds of Prey.
Colorful Wishes, started four years ago, is a "unique redesign of the traditional hospital gown of yesterday for children, woman and men.
"The founders were inspired by personal experience of spending time in the hospital with loved ones," according to a flier.
Rand, who recently moved to the North Idaho area from West Virginia, teamed up with fashion designer Janelle Funari of Orangia Collection to create "fun, bright and innovative line of hospital wear."
She estimates they have sold about 2,000 hospital gowns so far and believes they will sell many more.
"We're just getting started," Rand said.
She believes children will have fun with the "color me" T-shirt and gown. They can color the shirts over and over again, making changes and using their imaginations.

Proceeds from all of our sales will go to Birds of Prey Northwest
organization in assistance with protection and rehabilitation for all winged
creatures including American Bald Eagle, Ospreys, Falcons, and Owls.

There will be a coloring contest on our COLOR ME t shirts for children held
at the Heart and Home center store in Coeur D'Alene Idaho. Saturday May 21st

Today Joyce will be attending a luncheon to address Environmental Protection
with Bobby Kennedy and will be gifting him our Eagle Falcon and Color me
Freedom T shirts. We hope he likes what we are doing and supports Colorful
Wishes causes.

Today was a beautiful sunny day In Florida

I was in town for holiday so I decided to make a call to All Children's Hospital.
I was greeted with smiles by the foundation after they heard we donate with every purchase made to our brand.
I met with gift shop manager Robin Copes who fell in love with our color full wishes hospital gowns. She especially loved the eat me pixie dust design and wants to buy our COLORME hospital gowns!

We are looking forward to another successful launch with All Children's Hospital St. Petersburg Florida!

SDVSHO Show Louisville Kentucky

The show was a conference for hospital volunteers and hospital gift shop managers. Colorful wishes was asked by Pat Antion from Friends Gift Store from WVU Hospital in Morgantown, WV to the attend show.

We had an overwhelming positive response from all the attendees. St. Josephs Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia will now be carrying the Woman's hospital gown collection and Friends Gift Store will be carrying the new Color Me tee shirts.

Also after the large request from 3 major hospitals we are going to launch and create the Tiny Wishes Collection which will be for babies in the ICU unit. Each onesie will have the fun positive artwork the children's collection shares. The styling will be same concept as the children's collection continuing with the "hug me" wrap concept fabricated from soft 100% cotton jersey.

We are very excited to be expanding the collection. Also we will soon have completed our survivor series artwork for woman catering to woman who are fighting cancer which will be focused on all winged creatures.

The artworks include a Dove of hope, Angels dancing on flower petals, Triumphant phoenix and a angel horse. We are excited to continue to touch lives with our clothing and give strength to get through each day. hour or even a moment of their lives.

Each day is so precious enjoy and have gratitude!

Colorwishes Team- Janelle Funari designer and Joyce Rand Founder standing with Christian and Paige Deleon of New Life arts www.newlifearts.net. This team of creative artists were chosen create the first artwork selection for the childrens collection With assistance of creative art direction from Janelle Funari, Christian Deleon created the Robot which has positive words on arms like fight hard, don’t give up and focus, The Alien invasion which has spaceship flying up shirt with stars, Sketchy spaceship is a great rendition of the 1950s rocket ship and a caricature of a shy alien, and Galactic Universe which is a large alien head emcompassing entire shirt with a fun 50’s kitsch bubble art running down front all for the boys.

Paige Deleon created “Fairy land” (inspired from candy land and the magical world of Narnia from the movie Lion witch and the wardrobe)which is a unique art that wraps around the bottom of the gown or shirt filled with a magical world of fairies, nymphs, also with positive words like and “Fly high” with fairy jumping in her glitter rainbow , “Eat my pixie dust” which is afairy on motor cycle with pixie dust flying form her wheels embellished with Swarovski crystals, Tree of hope which is a tree full of love hearts with positive words like hope, love the earth and grow.
